I Just Checked H&M and Was Astounded by All the "Rich-Looking" Items I Found

It can't just be me—I had to do a double take when I saw these H&M finds because they're just so stunning. Perusing the site's new arrivals is a weekly (if not daily) activity of mine, and on my latest visit, I came across more than a few finds that actually stopped me dead in my scrolling tracks. While most of these pieces fall well under the $100 mark, I wouldn't blame you for assuming otherwise.

As a fashion editor, I have a keen eye for spotting expensive-looking details, and since I'm always looking at designer clothing, I can easily spot those luxe details elsewhere. The H&M pieces you're about to see below immediately reminded me of what I would see at a luxury retailer, whether it was an exposed-back dress, a bouclé-textured jacket, a balloon skirt, or '90s-inspired knits.

To see them for yourself and shop all of the expensive-looking items in my shopping cart, continue on.

If low-key luxury were an aesthetic, it would 100% involve a beige poncho like this.
Yep, you're only one jacket away from achieving French-girl style.
Whenever I see that something is tagged as "Premium Selection" on H&M, I know it's going to be a touch above the rest.

Small detail, big impact.
I'm getting major '90s-Prada energy here.
How stunning is this texture? It's the kind of detail that makes a simple collared shirt look so interesting and elevated.
Don't you dare forgo the matching pants.
The only thing better than the shape of these '90s mules is their luxe croc-effect finish.
It's giving rich mom in the best way possible.
For that "Chanel girl" look.
Zoom in on this beautiful braided detail. It's worth it.
Calling all fans of The Row—you need these perfectly roomy satin trousers.
The spring version of the one sweater everyone in Paris wore this winter.
My hunt for the perfect oversize trench may have just ended.
The combination of the cable-knit texture and collar here is brilliant.
The It color of the season.
Simplicity at its best.
Ultra-chic.
I don't think I've ever seen cargo pants look this, well, elevated.
It's giving vacation in Tahiti.
The trifecta of black sandals—versatile, cool, and easy to wear.
Wearing this belt over a blazer like the model did is such a power move.
Try it with a boxier style like this.
I'll take the top and the rest of the outfit—please and thank you.
Effortless but so pretty.
Diesel, is that you?
