I've mentioned this before, but I think it bears repeating: I hate putting my style into one box. Maybe it's just my indecisiveness (I am a Libra, after all), but some days, I want to dress in bright, trend-forward statement pieces, and others, I'm in head-to-toe neutral, polished basics. That being said, there is one thing that remains constant when I'm styling an outfit: cute sunglasses. The L.A. girl in me simply cannot walk out the door without them.
Recently, I've had my eye on this super-chic pair from Tory Burch's newest collection, available at Sunglass Hut, that's already blowing up in the fashion scene. To get some inspiration on how to style this must-have fall item, I hit up two fashion girls with totally different styles: color-obsessed Kelsey Kotzur and minimalistic queen Dawn Tan. And in typical Libra fashion, I can't decide which outfit is my favorite. Keep scrolling to see their epic looks and shop the sunglasses of the season.
"There's nothing better than throwing on a dress because it's a simple piece (even if it's tie-dye) that's so easy to wear. The green shade and silhouette of this dress scream fall to me. I felt like the outfit needed a bit of extra spice, and that's where these blue Tory Burch sunglasses came in. I love the shape of the sunglasses. It's such a classic silhouette, and I feel like it really suits my face!"
"For this look, I paired an oversize, chunky sweater with a miniskirt (so hot right now) and a pair of ankle boots that I thrifted in Paris. This look is perfect for those fall days when it's cold in the shade and warm in the sun. I have a chunky sweater to keep me warm, but I'm still showing off some skin to keep cool. And the Tory Burch sunglasses just made sense with this outfit! The gold rim matches my boots and my jewelry, so it's a perfect pairing. The deep-blue shade is just gorgeous and really goes with anything. (Tip: Black and blue look so good together—don't be scared of that color pairing.)"
"For me, this fall is all about cool, understated basics—think button-downs, white tanks, and denim. Layering them with a structured trench coat is such an easy way to transition your summer looks to fall. I'm a sucker for a full-on monochrome look. The blue frame on these just goes so well with the button-down and jeans. And the light-brown lenses go so well with the trench, too!"
"When I think of fall, I think of rich, dark colors—browns, burgundies, and sapphire blues. A satin maxi dress like this one paired with a chocolate-brown, oversize blazer just gives the look a cool fall factor without overdoing it. The blue frame and light-brown lenses of the Tory Burch glasses add a bit of interest and really pull the entire look together. I'm definitely going to be wearing this combination to my next dinner party. It's so chic."
