Gap Just Dropped Hundreds of New Arrivals for Fall—Here's What I'm Buying

The leaves haven't even started to change color yet on the East Coast, but it's safe to say that most people are more than ready for fall. After an unbelievably hot summer, I'm looking forward to crisp sunny mornings, cooler temperatures at night, and perhaps a fall foliage tour well before Halloween. But, before all that, I'll have to carve out a weekend to do my seasonal wardrobe swap. Thanks to small NYC apartments and even tinier closets, I'll be getting my chunky fall sweaters, cashmere knits, and leather jacket out of my under-bed storage and into my closet.

While unearthing forgotten gems from my own wardrobe is enjoyable, I'm not afraid to admit that fall is my favorite season to shop for clothes. This year, I'm looking to replace worn-out basics like button-up shirts and blue jeans, add a few fun statement pieces, and yes, probably several new sweaters. Hey—sweater weather is a thing for a reason, right?

Given my affinity for classic style, I always make a point of stopping at Gap to see their new pieces each season. And, although I haven't been inside a store yet, I have spent hours scrolling through Gap's new arrivals for fall. Yes, they're that good.

If you're ready for 60-degree days, check out the 25 pieces I'm adding to my closet ASAP. Even better? Most items are on sale! So, shop it while it's hot, and get ready for cooler days ahead.
