I'm Convinced That This $20 H&M Accessory Is the Secret to Looking Rich

There are certain items that fashion girls just know will take an outfit from 0 to 100, or better yet, from $50 to $5,000. But unlike some people, I don't like to gatekeep. In fact, I'm so gabby, I can hardly keep anything in for long. And of all the outfit-making pieces that myself and the rest of this industry swear by to elevate any and every ensemble, none do the job as well as a good belt—period.

Because of my sharing nature, this story was my first stop after I stumbled across what I can only describe as the chicest and most designer-looking belt on the market, an item that just so happens to cost only $20 and be in stock in every size. Courtesy of H&M, the belt in question is crafted out of a subtle croc-effect black faux leather with gold, Western-style hardware. And while it only just dropped, given how nothing lives on the shelves at H&M for long—trust me, I've been burned by the retailer's speedy sell outs more than once—it is essential that you and I both act fast if scoring the below waist embellisher is a priority, which it certainly should be. Scroll down to snag one before it's too late.

It's giving The Row.
The heavier buckle is a great replacement for jewelry.
This cocoa color is so luxurious.
Simply lovely.
I'm in love.
I'm wearing this belt today with just a black bodysuit and black jeans. So easy.
The bigger the buckle, the better.
$10? Say less.
Even the simplest of outfits will look celeb-worthy if this belt is added to the mix.
Just do it. What's stopping you?
What a shade.
Mango doubled up on this belt in the product shot and the look is going straight onto my 2024 moodboard.
AllSaints is known for its leather.
Brandon Maxwell included a belt buckle similar to this one in his not-yet-available S/S 24 collection and I've been smitten with the shape ever since.
